The Hardtop 4 Door (F55 chassis) has a known water leak issue around the rear door weatherstrips. Water enters the cabin during rain and car washes, pooling on the rear floor and in the spare tire well. The rear door weatherstrip does not seal evenly at the lower corners, allowing water past. This can damage the rear speakers, carpet, and wiring under the carpet. The issue is specific to the 4-door model — the 2-door Hardtop (F56) is not affected.
